Secondary O2 Sensor help needed Please!
Hi guys, I looked through the archieves and did find some info on the problem I am having, but I am in need of a bit more info. My wiring experience isnt that greatest and this may be why I am having this issue.
I swapped in a 2000 B16A2 into my 99 Civic DX Hatchback. I used the full SiR wiring harness (right up to the ECU)
I did some research and found out that the SiR has the wiring for the Secondary O2 Sensor in the dash and not the engine harness. This is where I am running into problems.
How do I wire the secondary O2 Sensor up? I know I need to extend the wires to the ECU, but all I could find is that A8 and A23? are the pin outs? What are the other two wires for? Ground and Power?
Please help! This is the only thing holding me back from a clean, prefectly running install!
Thanks

99 and 00 Civics are both OBD2 cars and have secondary HO2S requirements so I don't quite understand why you have this problem. Go to your nearest Honda dealer and ask to look at (Not buy) th two model year ETMs (Elec. troubleshootig manuals) If they're cool it wont be a problem and you may get your answer there!
Well I already know the problem, but what I need is help on resolving this issue. My car is a 99 Hatch and does have two O2 Sensors, but both are intergrated with the Engine Harness. With the 99-00 Si (Canadian SiR's) They only have the primary O2 Sensor in the Engine harness and the Secondary O2 Sensor is wired into the dash harness.
(This secondary O2 comes up through the floor of the Si (SiR) and connects to a connector under the dash. Since I have a DX, and I am using the full Si (SiR) Engine wiring harness (from the engine straight to the ECU) I need to extent the Secondary O2 Sensor wires and connect them to the stock ECU (Using the Si (SiR) ECU.
I just need help on how to do this.
Any help on this would be great, I know there are a lot of knowledgable guys here, if some of you could please just post to help me out that would be great.
I appreciate any feedback so I can get this issue fixed.
Thanks Guys.

Again EK9 _Hatch, Try to get the info. from the Honda ETMs for the model years your working on.(They include Canadian built models) They will show you where the wires do go or should go. Hope it will help, Good luck.
Thanks, I will try that. I just thought that with all these guys here, someone must have experience with this issue. B16A2 is one of the most common swaps into a EK9, but I cant seem to find all the info I need.
Any other help would be great. Thanks!

You will need to make your own wiring harness for the secondary o2 sensor and run it through a hole in the floorboard since it is located in the dash harness of the si civic.
Wire it as shown:

Wht - A23
Grn - C18
Blk (O2 heater control) - A8
Blk (O2 heater supply) - use a switched +12v.
