I have a Saenz Racing tranny (H22) that is currently being built by them, that i am getting rid of (no longer doing project). It's straight cut gears, new syncros, selecter hubs, bearings, gaskets, etc. Can handle over 1100whp. The LSD is down with them but not being installed, b/c i wanted to put in a spool in. THe gearset was $1900+, and the R&P was $2100, misc parts $600. Asking $2500 shipped.

sounds good . you should give me a call @775-291-1473 so we can discuss it some more. i would like to know what the ratios are. are they stock h22's? i'm actually running a 900 hp block but we plann 650 to the wheels on pump gas. an already built one would save me a lot of hassle.. looking to put in a quaife diff though not to familiar with a spool setup.

I am not sure of the exact ratios but they are not stock. They are a closer ratio then stock, designed for track use, and i ordered a custom 1:1 5th gear so it can go on the street without worrying to much about gas mileage or RPM's. I will need to look at my paperwork to see if it shows what the ratios are. A spool is basically like a locker for a truck. It locks both axles together so they are constantly moving in sync, good for drag racing, but sucks on the street.

you can keep your lsd because i'm putting a different one in. quaife is the one i want to use. is this the one you were going to put in your accord? didn;t you do an h22 swap in it? anyways, you built it for quater mile times. i wanted to have a decent top end too. what do you think its top speed would be in 5th. the motor is a ful built 600+hp f23 in an accord as well. should be a pretty fun build.

That's fine b/c they are assembling it without it, so its just a matter of busting the case open and putting the LSD in. Yeah i was giong to put it in the accord, i have/had a built top to bottom H22 that i was planning on running just for 1/4 mile and some fun on the streets. I started to do the swap then stopped b/c it would have been alot of work, so i am selling everything and bought a supra. The tranny is built for for 1/4 mile but can be used on the street. You probably won't even get into 5th with this gearset, should be close to redline but in 4th by the time you reach the traps. My guess is you would be in the 120-130 mph with the motor maybe more....there are alot of factors that would affect it though (weight, actual power, shifting skills, etc)

For the PM's just click on the name of the person who posted and you can go to the right and it says send a PM to that person. you do that, and that little box comes up, type what you have to say and hit send........its real easy.

damn bro, that's a bummer cause this car is going to be my daily driver. i need some pretty streatable gears. props on the supra though and that's cool that you still chill on this sight. how statisfied were you with these transmission builders? what kind of time frame was it to get your trans built. maybe they can hook me up? i also just bought a 2000 saleen i'm working on, but i usually drive my 05 cummings w/intake, exhaust, and an Edge programmer. i gotta have it

You can drive it on the street, you just won't have an over drive 5th gear, it will be one to one ratio. I was going to drive mine on the street, it would have sounded awesome b/c of the whine of straight cut gears. They designed the gears to take the abuse of the track and get better ratios for racing (quicker launch and keepign the motor in its powerband) Its perfectly fine on the street, but just wasn't designed for it.....Talked to guy there (alfred) said it would be fine for daily use, but i was just going to use it occassionally on the street, but it should be fine as a Daily driver.

I sent the tranny down 3 weeks ago just before i made the decision to switch projects, and i still haven't gotten it back. it should be another 2 weeks or so they said. I am not trying to be biased or anything but after dealing with getting all the internal tranny parts and shipping the tranny down, my deal is pretty damn good. and less hassle. So your a mustang weenie?!?!? haha just kidding, my neighbor has one that runs eights, told him when i am done with the sup i am going to race his azz. 05 Cummings must be nice!!! I drive an 01 Tacoma, and want to get the new 2500HD with the Allison tranny .........Anyway with the tranny you can have the best of both worlds just have to sacrafice the overdrive, which in my opinion is no big deal. The 1:1 ratio is as low as they get for fifth with this company

yeah, mustangs are alright, I used to be a big fan of them back in the day and this is my second Saleen, but if i could do it all over i would of opt'd for the skyline or the sup. i am gonna sell these rides in a few and put it down on an S7. as for the truck, i will trade it in on a new one in another year or so. helps me with my taxes. but good luck w/ the sup. i'll think about the trans though. i'm really lookin to buy today but could perhaps wait. a couple weeks ain't bad.

No problem.....i understand wanting it right away, but if you were to buy it it would be a month or so before you would get it back and alot more money from them if you went that route. let me know what you want to do, and when i hear anything from them i will let you know.

The gear ratios are as follows:
1st 3.071
2nd 2.154
3rd 1.666
4th 1.286
5th 1.000

They can install the LSD for you, but why send it away? A local shop should be able to do it, b/c shipping the Tranny to FL cost me a little over $100. (from NJ). Their gearset doens't come in different ratios, the only option is Fifth gear. I should also clarify myself when i said they are for the 1/4. Saenz makes gears/transmissions for road course vehicles (ie scca, GT cup, etc). The HP race team went to them to get a tranmission that can handle the abuse of the 1/4 mile. SO they designed this gearset to be stronger then thier typical gearset b/c of the torture it would see. That is why i said its designed for the 1/4 and not the street, but the gears are just as happy on the roads as they would be at the track.
