ha ha ha because I'm lazy and I don't like oil dripping down my arm when i do an oil change. Is there another reason for it?
and I'm didn't say i was getting it I was asking for opinions on it and if anyone has experience with it.

actually im interested in knowing more about this as well. i need that space for a project im working on. I was gona relocate other things but this would help greatly if i could ditch that location.
Yea its fine it works great on my friends gen three the only thing is you need more oil. I think it is one quart more. Not really a big deal. If you launch really hard or track your car a lot the engine will hit the filter. so that suxs

what do you mean the engine will hit the filter? you mean because of where your friend mounted it?

are you saying that relocating it could cause the engine to hit the filter? or on the stock position it'd hit the firewall?
personally, i wouldn't do it. i don't think there's a real point. relocating means you'll have to run some lines and that just means oil takes a little longer to circulate. but whatever floats your boat. there's a lot of discussion about it if u search
it's somewhat of a big idea in the f/i forum.

u like that? look here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1501869

and retarded. it's upside-down so it gets to drain all over your engine bay.

That came out of left field.
I am thinking of doing this myself sometime down the road, but i wouldnt want it in a location like that EK has. (not upside down at least)

I heard they were around $150, kinda high but ya never know.

I have a friend that put one of those kits on his car and it had double filters (which may or may not really make much difference) but one of the lines in the kit blew off and drained all of the oil out of his car in a couple of seconds. So if you get one I'd spend the money and make sure it's a good one so you don't run into the same problem. I was thinking about getting one myself until that happened to him, now I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Actually the filter gets drained of oil more completely if the filter is mounted upside down. It's not retarded at all.

I know people have been using these on muscle cars forever and some trucks even come w/them from the factory. These aren't hondas but I'd suppose it would work fine... not something I'd be interested in adding to an already cramped turbo engine bay but for a n/c application i think this would be a really good idea.

there are size of hoses you have to use for a 4 cylinder i think its -10An correct me if im wrong but it would be better to piece one together yourself and while your at it you should get an oil cooler here is the website http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/t....html
