Default Amber DC2 Conversion and Air/Fuel Gauge installed on friends GS-R

i cant take pics for sh*t and plus my camera sucks but you get the idea, $6 bucks for the bulbs and like $35 for the autometer just for kicks.......tell me what ya think about the lights and the gauge! ive never seen it in the dimmer switch spot so i thought id be a kinda cool post.....

if im not mistaken, when u pull the cluster, you change out those the 3 biggest bulbs out with ones from autozone..

i did a writeup on the bulbs for my DA, it should be the same as the DC.
search for it. its recent.

take off the bezel, then there r 3 screws holding the cluster in, then u pull the cluster out and unplug it. there r 3 big plug-like things on the back of the cluster twist them off, and pull out the bulb with the blue "condom" and put in an amber bulb(194 style) there are 2 more after that, u cant miss them, plug ur cluster back in and turn your lights on to see how much is lit up amber, if there is white showing replace the smaller plugs with #24 style bulbs where they fit, and for the needles take goof-off and apply it to the needles on the underside( you have to pop them off with a screw drive, be sure not to scratch the cluster) reassemble and enjoy your amber cluster! any ?'s pm me or search

why goof-off. does it make them glow orange?

yea i used goof off to take the orange off the backside of the needles so they glow amber as well... i might paint them silver or like a translucent grey/silver
