I need to do tranny work on my 1990 EF... but the FAQ points to the 92-00 forum...

is the thread. Are ours the same? Will this guide work? I have my Helms for our year, but is the transmission part the same?
What trannys are compatible with 89-91 EFs?

Awesome thanks. Does that include the repair being different, or just the splines/minor but enough so no bolt on?
EG trannies are hydraulic. youd have to go thru the trouble of converting the lines. so its not bolt on.
