in all honesty you should read up on superchargers and the difference
between 2 most common units used on sport compact vechile
centrifigal superchargers such as a vortex unit
and a roots type Supercharger such as a JRSC.
to come to your own conclusion and look at what setups other
people are running to get an idea of what you want.

a vortex(centrifugal unit) does not create boost instantly
but is almost simliar to a turbocharger in that as rpms increase
so does power. But compared to a roots type like the JRSC
the unit does not heat soak as heavily and you can get away
without using a intercooler. Of course the centrifugal S/C
does still have paracitic lag as it still uses crank pulley to
create power. Overall its all about what you want
Centrifugal for all out power(simlar to turbocharger)
Roots-type for awesome low rpm-mid range power
but can be limited on top end power due to Efficiency of the unit

iunno how this sounds but i saw a modded srt-4 racing a porsche (carrara), get destroyed a buy a vortec supercharged integra (yes the integra took off after them,..and then proceeded to blow past them while they were racing).. im not saying it does this for all cars, but i was impressed... i never had faith in superchargers... as i am a turbo guy myself.

Hmm the way I see it, I rather get a turbo charger than a centrifugal supercharger, because with a cenrtifugal supercharger, you'll probably pay the same price and it won't include the intercooler

well thanks for the info, i started this question because this thursday i went to the track and saw a eg coupe running good, I asked to see what he had and he showed me. He had a gs-r bone stock with open dif and the vortex unit on it,no intercooler (water to air)and 24inch slicks. He was running 7.9's all day, thats good dont u guys think.

before u guys start giving me stories of you or your friends car cars going faster, im not interested.

Screw a super charger throw a turbo in that. it'll be a lot lighter and it should give you more power if you get the right thing
