I have a ls turbo in my crx. When I'm in 1st 2nd and 3rd gears and I'm just cruising at like 2k-3k it sputters. But when I'm in 4th and 5th it doesn't do it. Someone PLEASE HELP ME
what is the condition of your secondary ignition; plugs, wires, cap, and rotor?? sounds like its missing, usually find oil in the spark plug holes due to bad spark plug tube gaskets..

That was a problem in my car, it would happen moslty under heavy load (i.e. going 80-100% throttle at a lower rpm). How old are the plug wires?

when my car was sputtering or whatever you call it lol. i called mine hesitating. when i step on the gas real hard it kind of hesitates then tries to accelerate then hesitates again. i replaced cap and rotor and it ran fine. i think the problem was the rotor because the old one had carbon tracks on it. it runs fine now but i also bought wires. just waiting till they come in.
oh if you want to check your wires start your car and start pulling plugs wires(with the spark plug still in its cylinder). hold it near your valve cover and if you see an arc jump from the wire to the vavle cover. if you do then you got a short to ground on your wires and that means that the spark is not jumping across your gap...instead its jumping straight to ground.

So far, have replaced:
Rotor
Cap
Plugs
Plug wires yesterday
And still sputtering when i start to get over 30% throttle, only in lower gears.
Fuel pressure is staying between 38-40...the motor had an AEM fuel rail on it...could this be a problem?
I'm also thinking my FMU might not be working right....Is this a possibility?

Do you think it might be the TPS? Something you haven't checked.
Might be a rich/lean mixture too. Does it do it more when cold or hot?
Could also be purging of the carbon canister gone wrong.
If you have a idle and the top end is fine I would look somewhere else than a tune-up.
And now that you changed all that stuff have you timed it?
While you have the light out check your advance curve.
Here is a couple for you...

Well my idle is crazy. When its cold and I start it, it wants to idle at like 2500-3000 rpms and when it warms up it surges from 1000-1500. I know its not a rich/ lean mixture, b/c I have a wideband and my air fuels are loe 13s to high 14s just cruising, and at wot without boost there in the 11s..
Could also be purging of the carbon canister gone wrong, how would I go about checking this and getting it fixed.
The timing is right as far as my light tells me.

I'm gaping the plugs a little bigger and replacing the spark plug hole seals. It seems to only sputter when the charge pipes are hooked up. When I blow one apart, and drive it in NA it doesn't seem to sputter at all
