question about hood pins
nervous about putting holes in your hood, but not about the hole in your head when your hood flies up and you can't see and have an accident. j/k, but u should get some, one of my friends hoods flew off on the way to nopi. luckily it just flew up in the air and didn't come all the way back. but the hood was ruined.
also depends on the grade of the hood...there are lots of people who dont use hoodpins at all and their hoods are as stiff and secure at high speeds as a stock hood...

Or you can be like all the ricers and buy or paint your hood black and put pins on it
anyways yes the pins secure the hood down so that it doesnt become airborn

Also in her case it was the carbon fiber that separated itself from the support frame underneath. I suppose hood pins would have kept it from flying off, but it would still have probably come unglued.[Modified by PatrickGSR94, 2:15 PM 4/2/2002]
