Default Help on suspension

I have a 96 civic hb

I got this noise coming form my suspension(mostly in the front from what I can hear) But its like a squeeking sound and I'm stuck on what it could be. I installed omni sport coilovers last year. I was thinking it could be from the coilovers but I don't know. It could be anything for all that I know

If anyone has an idea on what it could be let me know thanks

could be a ball joint that has run out of grease. Check the upper, lower, and steering balljoints.

it is possible that the rubber spring pads are worn and dry. it happened to me, i changed to hard urethane.

I'm gonna take a look tomorrow, Thanks for the advice guys. I'm gonna check all the balljoints, I doubt its the brakes but i'll double check that.

littleredcivic what are the rubber spring pads?

Is it at all possible for the shocks on the coilovers to be gone? I'm just thinking that to be an option...

the pads sit between the top perch and the spring and the bottom perch and the spring. they are there so your spring doesn't make a ding, dang, dang, ding kinda sound when you are going over bumps. when it is cold and wet, the stock ones make more noise.

Today I was driving around and I noticed the noise is getting a bit louder and more constant. is it possible that those rubber pads make more noise? its annoying me more and more now lol

Has it been squeeking since you put on the suspension? If so then check your top mount rubber bushings. Change them out or lube them. Also check your arms or upper joints. Lift up your car & check for any torn boots/covers, 10 year old car might need to replace those parts.
