start reading the forums, see what interests you. Figure out if you wanna go N/A, FI, etc...figure out if you want to stick with your sohc or swap the motor. If it was me id start by dropping the motor i want to use, then upgrade brakes and suspension but all that depends on if you want to daily drive it, drag it, auto x etc...what do you like ?

yes, start by reading the forum guidlines & post in app & cos.
other than that looks good, always start on the suspension. the car has to handle before you can make it go fast!

Suspension first.

Cleaning the engine bay and body matching the valve cover does wonders too

In order:

Coilovers.
Brakes.
Tires.
Engine swap.
Intake. Exhaust.
Save for turbo.

most of that stuff you listed above is worthless IMO.

But here are some brands for you anyway cause i'm such a nice guy:
- black housing headlights--- DIY thread (search)
-catback exhaust --- Apexi (my personal favorite)
- headers --- DCsports (decent brand, decent price)
- lowering springs --- (screw springs, get coilovers) d1 or Ksport. (decent brand, decent price)
- pulleys --- (bad idea, does more bad than good)
-short shifter --- (again i say bad idea... but if you must get b&m)

follow this FUNCTION then form

.. as in what order to do things .. suspension is a good start, koni yellow shocks + ground control coilovers = greatness .. then from there depends really what you want .. i love the D so i say save for boost and research about it along the way ..

must agree with them on the pullys. They slow down your altenator and your steering? not exactly good for driving or powering. But everything you do to your car is totaly up to you. but you did ask for brand recomendations about springs and headers.

I have never had any troubles with eibach springs. but you will need to get a set of decent shocks.

headers, that depends on weather your going n/a or turbo.. i say this because if going n/a get some good headers like greddy, if going turbo get some cheap ones from a local company. but not thoes .59 cent ones on ebay unless you want leaks and fitment problems.

but good luck on your car buds. its fun putting in the wrench time on a new whip.

dont forget about security too. I like to go suspension/tires and then engine. You can go fast, but if it doesnt handle good, whats the point?

everyones saying it isn't an EK...but for people (new people especially) its kind of misleading since the forum itself is labeled "92-00 civic/del sol EK/EG"
