Default Semi-new ITR owner from Vancouver checking in

Hello everyone! Proud owner of a 2000 PY ITR from Vancouver, BC here.

After owning the caR for about 9 months and lurking around HT, I finally decided to sign up for the forums and get a start on posting. I hate being a trial user, lol

I'm more of a lurker than anything, if I didn't have to get out of the trial phase, I probably wouldn't have even made this post! Just trying to catch up on some reading.... I don't know much about the b series motor at all, I had an automatic protege5 before this car.

and yes, i learned how to drive a manual in my type R... lol

Reading this forum is great! I had no idea what number my R was because the car was broken into before (previous owner) and they took the center console, but after snoopin around this forum, I actually found out that the previous owner posted here as well, and in his sig was the caR number!!

Anyways, just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself on these forums... I hope I can get some pics up soon, but my car is dirty right now and the winter tires are still on so she doesn't look as pretty as she can my nickname for her is Artoo (star wars fans where you at, lol)

nice to meet you all

Thanks man

I got her last august.... You know what's funny, my car number is one off from yours! and this is also a trip... but i think my car almost looks like yours as well.....

we may be the only two in vancouver with mf10's on a yellow R?

I saw that post about the meet tomorrow, still deciding if i should go or not. My car is dirty as hell and i feel so naked without the rims on. LOL!

anyways, it's lunch time, i'm gonna check this post after I get back

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone

RagingAngel, I'm pretty sure you did a lot of wrenching on it as well. You're johnson's friend right? I bought the car off him last summer.

The car has been taken care of I've kept using the same oil as him.... lubromoly 5w30.... ****'s expensive! lol

I also recently just got the tranny fluid, coolant, brake fluid, and oil changed so i've been beating the crap out of her alot.... i was scared to book it without doing all the fluids first, but all is well now

i'm gonna browse around the forum for old pics of this car.... will post soon!

Congrats man. Can't wait to see some more pics. Like ^^, the board is very very helpful. I've been using it for a little less than a year and have learned more about my car than most people know about their familes. It's great.
