I recently took my 96 integra gsr to get the oil changed and asked the guy if he could tell me what this horrible rattiling noise was when i accelerated. He told me it was "Valve Chatter". WTF do i do to fix this????????????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Is it an annoying ticking sound coming from your engine? It could be a sign that you need a valve adjustment.

 

THANKS the guy said something about the valve guides or something. SHOULD I JUST BUY NEW VALVES? Or redo the whole valvetrain now cams retainers springs valves cam gears?

 

jus take it somewhere and get a valve adjustment. It might be bent valves dunno but u will find out after the valve adjustment

Get a Valve adjustment from reputable shop. It will be around $100.00-200.00

Brand new valves? Try getting an adjustment before you start rebuilding your valvetrain...
