Default Need more topend

Recently I have done the mpfi swap on my 91 civic with the d15b2.
Also theres a 4-2-1 header, 3'' short ram intake, stock throttle body with the throttle plate screws smoothed down along with a good polishing on the inside of tb. The rest of the exhaust is 2 1/4''. Still have the stock cx 5 speed tranny with a short shifter. Did very mild cleaning up of the a6 intake manifold intake ports. I am running the pm6 ecu as well and the other weekend I put in the d16a6 camshaft.
I noticed a significant high rpm power increase and i have been able to get up to 200km/h now as well as beat a variety of cars such as mx-6 v6's and cobalt ss.
However when i raced forced induction cars and ones with special valve timing deals like......MIVEC from mitsubishi's...vtec from b16's....they start pulling away strong at 160km/h.

After all that jabber I just want to know a suitable replacement to the d16a6 cam but one with wayy stronger top end. I heard about the exospeed cams and the delta 272 regrinds and a few other ones. However im just worried about piston to valve clearance with those cams as I am using my 1.5. I honestly dont care about low end torque...im addicted now and ide rather have all top end. I know the 4-1 header would be better for that but i dont think replacing the headers gonna give me the advantage i need Has anyone done clearance checks with plastigage or something on the 1.5l with any after market cams for the a6?

I would invest in another motor. Or atleast change the pistons for my compression.

depending on how much you wanna put in your car a b16 has good top end and you will be able to go faster than 125mph... i havent been in a new eclipse but there 265hp its probaly gona take a b16+ some more bolt ons to run with a new eclipse

ya....i just wanted to get the most out of the current setup before i put the y8 head on the built a6. I might just try another cam and that will probably be it for this motors mods as changing pistons is a little out of reach for me on this car now as its my current all the time driver and all. But thanks again for the input and i will consider all that for another build.

this one seems like it wouldbe perfect http://exospeed.com/products.php?prod_id=206
