few weeks ago i bought a JDM b16 cable tranny from this guy name IAN CUTSHAW, he said he bought the tranny for 600 and dont need it any more so he was selling it for 450. we met up and i wasnt being a lowballer either, i asked him so many time if this tranny is good, no grinds or any thing. he said yes and if it does i can always bring it back to him. i was wondering why all the suddent he said 400 is cool. i was happy. so i bring the tranny home and install it the next day
the tranny grinds bad. 3rd gear, 4th gear and reverse some time doesnt want to go in. so i called him he didnt pick up the phone.

i left a message and said " you stated the tranny doesnt grinds and still good, but 3 out of 5 is no good already, i want my money back " he never pick up since then

if any one know him please let me know or catch him i will reward that person 200 dollars. hes live in socal, drives a white integra and his phone # is
8021998939. he doesnt know who hes dealing with and if i find him i will make sure he will never scam another person !

He suckered you man. You should have just gave him $50 down payment, install it, if messed up you lose nothing. If good you give him the rest of the money.

I think your expectations are a little high for something you paid 400 bucks for.

Im sorry you got taken for a ride, but cant expect something for nothing.
Even Ebay people are selling B16 cable trannys for 700-1100 dollars.

if the tranny didnt have lsd, you paid the right price. that sucks you got scammed and i hope for the best for you

 

i've been searching for a while for this tranny i saw peole sell it on HT for 500 max, and it was in good condition, i didnt expect much out of this, but damn 2 out of 5 are bad and i paid 400. the thing that pissed me off the most was the guy just straight up lied to me, " all the gears are perfect " now tell me you would not be **** off if some one expletive u over like that.!
