are you trying to make them or trying to figure out how to mount ones that you buy?

OK...

I'm a noob to this world (import 4 bangers) so correct me if I am wrong, but these cars are FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, so, how are they pulling the wheels up enough to use wheelie bars? Logicly, front wheels come off the ground, you go nowhere!

I use them on my car, but it's an old 'merican V8 muscle car, rear wheel drive.

Is there any REAL funtion served by wheelie bars on these cars, or is this just a cosmetic thing.

even though they are front wheel drive, when they take off the line that fast they still lift up in the front... obviously the wheels will not come off the ground but that is why the wheelie bars are so close to the ground to help the slicks keep contact with the track

Thanks for that answer, and not being condesending with it.

So, wheelie bars arent nessicary per say, but somthing to limit the front end lift during launch is. Got it.

After reading the linked thread, it seems wheelie bars are not such a good idea unless you are changing the real axle, it seems the stock one can't take the stress.
