anyone use $18 motorolla 3 bar map sensor?
is this the same as the GM map sensor? im sure it is a three wire and all, but are the voltage references the same? thanks.

If you mean the motorola 2.5bar... people use it all the time and its 6 pins, 3 u can cut off and then you have to wire it up. Voltages are not the same as the GM... you'll have to go find that for yourself... lots of info here and pgmfi.org
There is a Motorolla 3bar map sensor. I have a few of them. They do have the exact same voltage to pressure conversion as the GM. With that said, the packaging the 3bar Motorola sensor comes in is far too small to be usable. These sensors are ridiculously small. It takes far too much thought to mount and use them. The 2.5bar Motorola Map sensor is great though.
Quarter, 2.5bar(the bigger one), the spec on the table is the 3/4bar packaging.

I didn't even see it at first.. I was like "wtf is he talking about.. it looks the same size as the 2.5bar!" hahaha.
I use the 2.5 bar..
from me. I don't think it gave Blundar any trouble tuning it either.
