Default Swapping Bell Housing

I have a Cable Ys1 Ls trransmission on a JDM B18c... I also have a Hydro s4 B16a2 transmission.... I heard that all the have to do is change the bell housing on the tranny without having to changing the whole gearset? can anyone esle confirm this?

i can't say that i've heard of this being done... but if it isn't a common solution for the hydro/cable conversion then i'd say it's not easily done or else all of us cable tranny guys would be swapping in hydro trannies like it's nothing without any conversion kits from the likes of hasport.
