sorry i dont feel like mixing paint and painting my car to find out the color is ugly.
i dont want the exact paint code. i just want to know what shade it is. some dark reds have hints of brown, or purple, etc. so i want to get something darkk red but looks nice in sunlight but in low light it looks almost black, the tc color is really nice

or just use a little common sense, cause with you saying that you wanted the color to be, a dark red and almost black in low light... i would say the color is in the black cherry family.

you paint cars? cause when you look through paint books by different brands like house of kolor, ppg, they dont always match what youd think.. for instence i could not find a black cherry house of color paint.
i actually wanted a black cherry color and i liked the tc's color, and found out they actually call it black cherry. but i dont know any other shades that closely resemble that. that coupe did but had more of a glow in the sunlight.

once again, if you were serious, you'd get this taken care of.
i guess i shall explain how.
you would get your *** up off the computer chair, and go to a bodyshop/paint shop and look at books of actual samples and talk to them about what they could mix in to get different results that you want from a certain shade/color. if you haven't noticed yet, you cannot get anything near an accurate idea of what a paint color will look like by looking at the crappy jpg's on the paint company/supplier websites. you weren't planning on just ordering something up online were you? if you want good results, some things with a car require hands on action out in the real world rather than the all too convenient honda-tech or ebay.
also like another person has already stated, its common sense that your description would be called a shade of black cherry. years ago when i was going to get at toyota truck, i wanted it to be almost black in the daylight with just a hue of red, and completely black looking at night. i knew this was the description of a dark sort of black cherry. if i were serious and picked up a toyota pickup, i would have drove my happy *** down to the local color factory or body shop to look at samples and discuss a paint or mixture of paints that would get my desired results.
if you are that concerned about what a color will look like, have them mix some up and paint something with it.
the fukking end.

haha ok. ive been to senik and looked at diff shades of paint in the book and under the light to see how theyll take the sun. but when your mixing your own paint the only real way to know how it will come out is to paint those gas tank lookin things and clear it and see what the shade looks like. i dont have the time or money to do that. but thanks for your advice

its a candy? i was looking at some dark maroon house of color candies and found a nice color but between the 3-4 coats of base and 4+coats of candy and 4 coats of clear i was thinking the paint would look like resin its so thick. and then i decided maybe candies are better on classics and bikes that have smooth bodylines. i think if the paint was too thick the sharp creases and edges would look too soft on a honda. look like you painted the car 6 times respraying ovet the previous coats
