ZC in a crx..
I'd jump in with the usual search comment, but "zc" won't work on the searches...
If you mean the DOHC OBD-0 engine (which used to be the most common), then no, you don't *need* a new ECU but an ECU from an 88-89 Integra will give you better maps/performance (I might be wrong on the year). Do a google search on the ZC, there are a ton of good articles out there. Here are two to get you started:

Stick with the Si transmission and be sure to replace your clutch or your going to regret it later. Incase it comes up, don't forget that 88 transmissions are differant from everything else.
