06 Si oil?? is this normal????
ok well i have had my Si for about a month now got it with 4 miles on it babied it for about 200 miles and then every now and then i would rip on her a lil (not all the time and no didnt bring it to 8k) i would just get on it a lil every now and then anyway. i got about 980miles on it and i checked the oil and it seems to be in between the upper hole mark and the lower hole mark. i didnt check it when i first got it. but is that normal for it to eat a lil oil like that or what???
Did you check it cold or warm? When it's warm it should read low, best time to check it is after letting the car sit overnight. Burning a quart of oil with a new car is not normal.

It's fine, check it in the morning when it's ice cold and it will be at the top.

it has to sit WAY longer than that
the oil needs to get out of the system and back into the pan
