sup honda tech, got a problem, I did this mini me swap about a month ago, and been fixing the little problems here and there, i'm just about done. Heres the problem, the head after it starts up, has smoke coming from it. Did a compression test got 210 on all cylinders, also smoke comes from the tail pipe its not white or smells sweet. Could this be a running rich problem?

mods:

redone y8 head: new valve seals, resurfaced, valve adjusment
y7 block with 145xxx miles
y8 auto manifold
y8 fuel injectors
y7 ecu

 

Is it black at all? Mine runs rich, but im using a p2p ecu (stock 00 ex ecu) and have a bad 2nd o2. Your since you are using a y7 would be a p2e. Do you have any CEL? The non-vtec ecu would probally mess up things as well.
