Default Buzz/moan sound...

When I take off from a stop with steering wheel already turned I get a buzz/moan sound coming from the rear of the car. I figured it was something to do with the limited slip differential but I wanted to ask you all if this was normal? It only lasts till I get up to maybe 5mph.

- Thanks in advance!

Is this what this forum is like? If so that's a shame. I used to have a Camaro and posted many times & LS1.com and never was "attacked" like this. Maybe some people are a little toooo into this forum?

Yeah, I hate the e-thugs and bench racer know it alls...

Now for that noise, best I can figure I would suspect a cv-joint or maybe a wheel bearing? By chance can you tell if its from dead middle of the car or maybe one side?

I couldn't say for sure if it's from the middle of the car or off to one side. But since it apperantly isn't totally normal to hear this sound, I'll just take it to the dealership. I have the Berk test pipe on it, though, and didn't want to put back on the Cat if I didn't have to

If you have an 00 or 01 model, check your wheel bearings, then tie rod ends, then suspension bushings.

probably best to toss cat back on and take it to dealer if its under warenty. Don't be lazy it can't take more then 15 min to put the cat back on!

I'm curious, let me know what they say it is.

Yeah, I'll put the cat back on & have them look at it. It's a 2005 with only 1300 miles on it.
