Default 2000 civic si or 97+ prelude

My brother is in the market for a new car... i have a friend with a 2000 civic si, just about 100K. it has i/h/e lowered eibach springs kyb agx shocks/struts, skunk2 short shifter with skunk2 shift ****... hid kit. the car is in amazing shape, he takes better care of it than anyone i know of. my brother has been leaning towards a prelude, i told him to look at the non sh's. but, my opinion is for him to get the si, and build up the motor (since the suspension is already done). he'd like to know your opinions... thanks guys.

civic si with the b16a2 motor are hella slow car.
you dont get alot of torque out of that engine.
is like driving a SOHC
I putted a Gsr block on my 00 si and I Love it???
Just get the prelude which comes with the H22.
You can build this motor and get 250WHP with little modification to the motor.

Depends what your brother is going for. Speed or handling. I myself like the ludes.
I don't have one but I like the way they ride and have a nice amount of power stock. Stay away from the sh's though.

i think the prelude is a fun car to drive around in the city, but i would probably get a si instead. the si gets better gas milage, b-series parts are cheaper and easier to find and i think the si handles better.

tell your bro to get a ls and boost it since you got a gsr already.
