what Header for high compression Jun3 setup??
I was thinkin SMS, but the Toda looks quite nice as well...but I'd assume Toda's are made to work with Toda cams and SMS ARE CUSTOM
that's what I hear...it's either toda or SMS I'll have to make my decision quickly

Get the JUN header!!!! That thing is desgined for their cams. I tested the hytech header on my car and it didn't do jack it actually lost power in the mid-range, and i don't think that it is worth the hassle of making everything fit right, not to mention that it is 3-400 dollars more. The JUN header bolts right up and works awesome with their type 3s.
I don't mean to rag on the hytech header, it is a very good header, and it will make good power. It's just it was so built up while the JUN header was so ragged on, and then when it came down to it, it actually lost power. JUN really knows what they are doing they designed all of their parts to work together to make the most power.

Really...I would've figured toda AND sms would've out performed the Jun header considering all the dyno plots I've seen...and that sms is fully adjustable?
I also would have agreed with you right after the great header test. That is one of the reasons that I tried the Hytech header. True I haven't tested it against the Toda or the sms, but all that I have heard over and over again is that header is designed SPECIFICALLY for the type 3 cams. I think that on a stock motor there are other headers that will make more power, but when you start changing things like cams, that is when the JUN header really starts making power.
ok, if Jun header is designed for the Jun cams...don't you think Dave's(SMSP) header would work well too considering it's fully adjustable? and it's custom made?

Yeah, but you also had an intake and exhaust. TurboR616 is still running on stock.

If i switch from my old jdm 4-1 to a toda header, will i really feel a diference, is it worth teh extra 500? Especially if i am goin bigger cams like jun3's?
