Search around the forum there are quite a bit of people running the boosted F series. 10PSI should be reachable with a good tune but normally i see people run around 8 if i remember.

From what i hear 8-10lbs should be ok and get you anywhere from 200-260 whp depending on your setup and tune. I don't think around 250 whp is out of the ?

it depends what set-up your using, what other modifications you have done what fuel (octane), what injectors what size exhaust, ecu etc...i would only recomend 8 psi or 1/2 bar, people who are pushing 10+ are risking it for daily driven cars just because a unsleeved block wont be to take that much pressure. tell me your set-up and i could give you a rough estimate on how much power to expect

8psi on stock

make sure you have it tuned

fpr, extra/bigger injector

piggy back computer=bad for you

FMU=asking for blowing up

with free flowing 2.5 inch exhaust and high flow cat, 230 whp is common on pump gas

IT IS NOT ABOUT PSI!!!!!!!

What you have to worry about is horsepower. you can put 12 psi through a t28 and only make 190 hp or you can put 12 psi through a t3/t4 and make 240...see where this is going. and the others are right it all depends on your set up. and it is critical that you have something to tune your setup on.

good luck on the build

the blocks are tanks. its the pistons is what you have to worry about. you clould run 12 daily on stock internals if you wanted....its all about the tuning. trust me i have been running 8psi for a long time and the engine has just as much compression as it did 2 years ago. now my tune is pretty conseritive. i could be makeing a bit more power. but since i am in school and need this as a dd i cept is conseritive.

DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON TUNING!!!!!!!!!

my car has been turbo for almost 3 years now and i have gone from uber getto cheap turbo set up to a semi getto...lol with proper tuning 93 octane you could run 15lbs dd give that you have a healthy engine.

dont listen to these people talking **** on the sleeves in this engine. they are iron and very thick. i see know problem with them holding 400 hp..i think they are the thickest i have seen in any of the open deck honda engines
