I don't know if he's on this board or not...I bought what was supposed to be a Hondata with boost installed in a P75 ecu. What I received was a PR3 with no Hondata at all...just a Hondata sticker on the cover. It was a P75 case but the board was replaced with a PR3 inside it. When I asked what was up I received no reply until I lodged a complaint with Paypal. Putz says his girl bought it for him & he never looked inside it so he didn't know what it really was, then says maybe I just took the Hondata out after I got it and am trying to scam him!!! Scammer accusing me of scamming him! Alot of nerve. Then he tells me "I bought a tranny with your money so I can't refund you." Nice, he gets an LSD tranny, I get a useless ECU. Since he won't accept it back, and I won't ship it back w/o refund first, we finally agree that I will sell it myself and he will refund the difference. Like an idiot I cancel the PayPal complaint accepting his word on it, he disappears again and PayPal won't let me reinstate the claim again. He has since scammed 2 other guys on Ebay also.

Not like I lost my shirt in the end, but I shouldn't have lost a penny. Tired of scammers as I'm sure you all are.

That's why I only buy used parts from people I know or if I don't I go to their house to pick it up that way if something like this happens I at least know where they live .

well that's good for u. but i would never sell parts to folks that want to come to my house.

 

Where else would you pick them up? I mean if it's a far distance I can see meeting the person 1/2 way but every part (except 2 or 3)I've bought used so far has been @ people's houses.

wont bother meeting half way either. i perfer to ship. to each's own.

 

Yeah, gotta be careful inviting people over to see everything you got in your garage...they'll case it until you're gone then help themselves.
