okay heres my question,
i need to know if i get a transmission from a 91 acura integra, could i be able to use it with my b16a1 engine. the reason im asking is that when i call these places that sell transmissions they only ask me for the make and model. and i cant exactly say 88 honda crx since as far as i know they never put a b-series engine in one. and when i go and tell them the tranny code (example: ys1, s1. ect) they tell me they only go by the make and model of the car.
-thanks ahead of time.

Are you replacing a transmission you already had with your swap?
Unless you had the YS1 tranny one your B16 and wanted to re-use same clutch-
You can tell them 1990-1991 Integra (all models will work) LS, RS, GS.

I have a 91 teg LS in mine and although the gearing is not ideal it's still fast. Just not as quick as it was with my S1. I will work though. Just ask the transmission shops for a 92 Acura Integra GSR transmission. That's the tranny you want if you have to get a US tranny.

just wont feel as fast due to gearing, but any cable b series tranny can work.
i guess its worth noting NOT a prelude b20 from the late 80s its a totally different animal.
