LS Vtec?

Well as you guys know i just recently bought a hatchback with a poor mans type r. I took it to FNWERKZ.com, he told me that it was a GSr block with stock b16 head with gsr cams. So its not a poor mans type R. Well i was thinking of building a LS/Vtec. I have a ls bloack and head,and i have the gsr bottem end and b16 top end. You guys think i should give it a try? Would It be worth it?Anybody ever done this setup before? LS Block with Jdm Gsr Crank,pistons,with a b16 head,gsr cams? Thank you please comment!
that is a poor mans type r..... the true poor mans got type r pistons tho... just stay with what you have. there would be no real power differnce, escept a little more torqe but its not worth the time and money for 15tf/lbs

Ls block wit gsr crank,rods,pistons is basically a gsr motor,,So why waste the money..? Just stick with what you have and get some better pistons,,and better camshafts,,maybe some itr or ctr spec cams..
