Default D16Y7 into '89Dx HB

Ok, I tried to run a search but found nothing. I was curious, how hard is this swap? I know that I will have to convert to multi point, but will I also have to wire it for OBDII? Im really Interested in this swap, mostly because I can get the motor for cheap, and my D15 is about to crap out on me. Any info or links would be greatly appreciated. Thnx

Keep your obd0, use a mpfi manifold and a pm6. You will also need to use the stock driver side motor mount from your car's original motor, and the timing belt cover will require modification. You could also use a d16y8 intake manifold, it flows much better than a Si mani does.

so the only mount & would need to be changed out would be the D16y7 timing belt side mount (the one that BOLTS into the side of block) ?

on the driver side do i use the y7 or a6 or b7 circular mount bracket?

use all your old mounts basicly. Since teh Y7 was hydro you use your cable tranny with all 3 mounts then use your OEM mount thats on your block right now the "a6" one and put it on the y7 block.

as stated the timing belt cover just needs a lil trimming.
