check engine light

my check engine light will come on about three times a week but will shut off if i shut the car off and turn it back on . How can i check to see what codes i'm getting?

take the carpet off the ecu and check the led that flashes.

Is it on the passenger side floor under the dash?

Yeah,,in the footwell,,just lift the carpet and count the blinks from the red light on the ecu..short blinks = 1..Long blinks = 10.. Look here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=468260
