I want to remove my pinstrips on my 98 lude. There a pain in the *** when i wax and some parts are beginning to peel off anyway. But if i remove them will the paint under the strip possibly be a different color since its been covered for so long ? Also anyone have any teqniques on removing the strips without damaging paint ?
Pretty sure the paint under the stripes might look different. Depending if your car has seen a lot of sun. There's some stuff you can buy at any auto store to take off your pin stripe. Other than that, a blow dryer also works.
