I posted it.It's a close friend of mines car.
Just curious, why wouldn't someone purchase it?(other than the obvious fact that it isn't cheap). The car is in flawless condition, the swap was done professionally with a low mileage engine/tranny and has been barely driven since the swap.

most people that buy a "R" would want a origanal one. Not one with a k swap. To me its more valuable with the b18c5 not the k motor. esp if you are trying to collect the car for future sales. If it was my "R" I would off put the c5 into it. Would of put the k motor in a gsr or ls. There are plenty of them floating around. But hell its something new. Not mad at him not at all. But some might think other wise.
But if its a rsx "R" motor. Hell a r for a r hummmm.............hummmmmmmm nawwww still not the same,lol

I have to disagree that a K swapped R is "just another integra with a swap". There is more to the R than just the motor. In my opinion and for the way I intend to use my car, the K motor is superior. The R chassis is the best integra chassis. I see putting the two together as an "upgrade". But then again if I didn't buy my car to drive it and instead I wanted to collect it, then I would want the "original" engine. My bottom line: the R is too much fun to not drive and a K swap would be even more fun.

If you are asking if we know anything about the car then I would say that I wouldn't.
If you are asking just based off of that small *** photograph, then again I wouldn't.

Well, the outside looks OK lol. Drive it and check out to see how good the JDM conversion was done.
$23k for that car though. It does have a K20a in it so I guess that's not too crazy.

It has stock suspension on it and sits just like a stock ITR did when it rolled off the floor from acura. The chassis only has 12k miles on it.Anything else you want to pretend you see from the picture?
Those of you who want to say it has less value from the swap need to put things in perspective.I had an ITR for almost 3 years. My car was fairly quick. However, after taking one 5 minute ride in this car I couldn't have been more impressed with the K20.

$23k is a little high.
People have to remember that modifications dont raise the resale value of a car. Unless you have a NOPI, HIN, Magazine champion car with trophies up the ying-yang than mods just dont help. Granted, I know that the K20A swap isnt cheap and you would like to get some money out of it, but maybe a better venue would to be pulling the K out, putting the B back in, and selling seperately. This is unless you find someone that just must have a highly modded car right off the start.
What maintains a resale value is number of miles on the origional motor, miles on the chasis, as well of course as maintinance of the car.
Its a great car! I think you could get top end Blue Book value for it, if you returned it mostly back to stock.
Good luck

imho when i see swaps and people are trying to sell swaped cars, its because they either want to try to start another project or something screwed up and they don't wnat to deal with it, thats my 2 cents.

Or maybe this guy owns a car dealership and is ready to move his money into something different.
The owner of this car doesn't want to sell the car because anything is wrong with it.He just doesn't drive the thing that much because he is paranoid that it will get damaged or stolen so he is going to sell it.

Not trying to be a PITA but I would assume anyone who was buying a car like this would have previously owned Hondas and wouldn't have to have some person vouche for the car/owner.They would be able to look at it,drive it and draw a conclusion as to the quality of the car.
I'm not trying to start a **** storm in you guys forum. However,I just can't see bashing a car like this(when I have seen it numerous times in person)on face value or over some pics on the net.The car is clean and well done.If you don't like it or can't afford it(this isn't at in person in particular)then don't buy it.

The whole scoop:
I went a couple of weeks ago to loom at it...it was purchased as a shell, the original owner had boosted the motor and sold the motor seperately. Chris bought a JDM R K20 with about 20K on it and had the swap done by Stage 6. It is a pretty good swap, it is on aluminium motor mounts and the 6 speed shifter is in a very nice aluminium conversion box which drops the shifter to the right height and position inside the car. The interior is in really good condition, all stock seats. the PS was retained, a slot was cut in the support bracket for the CF hood so that it could be mounted. The plumbing for the PS needs a little work. The AC compressor is installed, but all the hardware/plumbing/interior fans need to be installed and replumbed, then charged with freon. The original paint on the cr is in great shape, the paint in the JDM front (all metal except for the hood and chin spoiler) is ok (7.5/10), could have been prepped a little better before the paint was sprayed, but is in good condition. The drivers side fender and air dam need to have the support bracket installed. There is only one small dent, which he was going to have removed on the passenger side door, could be removed with paintless ding removal. The ECU is a stock JDM R ecu, so it is running the stock JDM 93 Oct maps. It has a header and has a custom 2.5" exhaust which sounds pretty nice at idle, I am sure it is pretty load at WOT. I did not have a chance to drive it, I was working, but would consider buying it if the price was somewhat lower.

it's ok, get butt hurt on something i VISUALLY ******* SEE as well as every else (probably) just because it your "close friends" car. something is going on with the suspension up front. i don't pretend to see anything... if indeed the suspension is just as it was from the "floor from Acura" (impossible there's more weight up front now then when the car was stock)
if not and all is well fine, take a better ******' picture on a level surface if he's REALLY trying to sell it

Who is the one getting butt hurt now?I know you want everyone to think you are some keen eyed expert here but you're wrong. It's the angle of the pic.

I am suprised you can pretend to see a 3mm difference in ride height from a pic of a car on an eneven surface yet you miss a link with over 30 pics of the car in it.
