Finally got rid of the momo wheel cause it poked out to much and got a stock wheel, I would imagine the blinker would shut-off after i got a stock steering wheel but nooooo. So i took the wheel apart for further review.

I Know the blinking shut-off mechanism had to do with a white plastic dealio, I think the reason people's blinker stay on is that when they remove the wheel they use force, and that force breaks the little tabs on the white piece of plastic below that is circled by GREEN.

When I engage the blinker the black tab sticks out (red circle)


Here im tunring the plastic piece by hand so it goes over the tab


The revolution is complete but the blinker is still on.


allright so im missing a peiece of copper, which piece is it?

theres a metal thing with 2 tabs that hang up. if those arent on correctly or are bent the blinkers wont turn off also but if thats all good and dandy change that part lol

 

That green plug is probably for a OBD2 Scanner.

mine does the same thing and ive never messed the steering wheel at all. but mine is on and off. sometimes it will turn off automatically and sometimes it wont. i havent noticed a pattern yet but that is because it never really bothered me. hope you find an answer so i can eventually fix mine

 

supposedly theres a metal peice that goes over the white plastic pc, anybody have pictures?

 

that black tab is supposed to be there.
its used so after you complete the turn, when that white plastic rotates back to the oposite position, that plastic piece goes away and it forces the turn signal switch back to its place. ill give more info later. ive take mine apart b4

yeah that white thing is broken, it shoud turn along with the steering wheel and not turn freely on its own.

 

i know that, but i turned it by hand, and the black tab doesnt go back in.

 

the white piece will turn freely if theres no steering wheel on it. my blinkers didnt cut off after i put on an aftermarket wheel because the adapter i bought didnt lock into the white piece like my oem wheel did. i took a piece of that cheap silicon vaccum hose that comes with air intakes and shoved it down around the steering shaft then put my adapter back on. it holds enough pressure against the front of the white piece to turn it with the wheel and cut off the blinkers like normal. this might not be the kind of info your looking for but i thought id try.

 

i have a spare one at home, ill take it apart later and see whats up.

 

i just bought at hodna dealership a new white plastic thingy with new tabs, hopefully it will work


it works. the part number is 35251-S04-A81 BODY, SWITCH (36MM) - 1 $10.52 $7.76

didnt order it from online, bought it at stealership for $15.03 with tax cause i didnt want to wait, but all and all, its work, the tabs were broken thats why the plstic peice didnt move when my steering wheel was on. PM me for any questions.
