aftermarket steering wheel + blinkers?

aftermarket steering wheel + blinkers?
after taking off my steering wheel for the aftermarket one.. my blinkers must be manually turned off after takign a corner, is this right?

no this is not right. i have an aftermarket steering wheel. and in fact a quick release one and my blinkers still work as normal.

It's not the clock spring mechanism that does the signal cancel. It's the white (or black) bowtie-shaped piece on the combination (blinker/wiper) switch. You need to line the tabs on the bowtie with the notches on the steering wheel hub.

Not true, you just need to leave the white plastic turn signal cancel mechanism in the column.

Then you have it. You need to align the tabs on it with the notches in the steering wheel hub.
