yo wassup guys i have an 91 integ and for some reason whenever i shift it feels like its gonna drop the tranny or something! iono if it could be the clutch or not because i bought the car recently and i dont know if they replaced the clutch with a racing one or what. also whenever i down shift i can feel it in the shifter that the shifter starts to move? iono if thats normal or what so yea if anyone can explain these things to me that would be great!!

 

sounds like your motor mounts are trashed

 

definetely check mounts.

 

ya check mounts and make sure the shift linkage is tight

 

got to be tha mounts just replace them with hassport mounts, or stuff polyurthan in them lol j/k

 

sheit alrighty haha how much does it cost for motor mounts and to install them? and yea i sort of thought that maybe the shift linkage was loose or something

 

This happened to my friend after buying his tegra.. lost the tranny.. the stabalizer moves too much and peals the back half of the tranny off.. even inserts didnt help, he just bought new complete polyurteane mounts.. all i can say is drive that tegra easy.. shift at low RPMS and dont fed on it.. either way ill be willing to bet that you lose your tranny in a matter of a month.. best of luck, id say buy COMPLETE poly. mounts.. there like 250$
