how do i gain maximum midrange with sk2 mani? (searched)
i have s2s1 also and after the sk2 mani mod i notice my midrange power lags even with vtec raised to 5600 rpm.. how do i get all of my midrange power back??? help plz
Chipped ECU's aren't worth a damn if the chip isn't written specifically for your setup. I have seen very few good chipped ECU's. The one that I have seen were tuned on a DYNO and in the real world before being burned to the ROM.
Oh yeah... I upgraded to Hondata S300 so I have an S200B that is up for grabs!!

You could try a CAI if you don't have one.</TD></TR></TABLE>
i know that the type R uses the same manifold.. dont the type R have lots of midrange poweR?

itr's usually make all their power up in the high end, this is because of the way the engine is designed (ie. intake/manifold/cams/etc.)
As mentioned already....a tuned map is the only way to go to maximize power through the entire powerban.

entirely up to you and how much you want to spend....people usually stay obd1 just because its tuning friendly, unlike obd2.

if you're going to spend the money to try and use another ecu, you might as well just get Hondata or something comparable and have it tuned.
