dont know how to get codes and find out what they are??

oh, ur asking for check engine light codes. U can use a paper clip and right up above the ecu there will be two connectors. One 2 wire and one 3 wire. (there my be a blue 'cover' so to speak on the 2 wire. Use the paper clip to jump the 2 pins (on the 2 pin connector) together then turn your key to the on position. (2 clicks not starting the car)

then count the blinks. Long is the first number, short is the second.

so long long long long short is code 41

i get a elo while driving when i shut out the car and turn keyy back on the light is off.car wont give me any codes.
