Default Master Cylinder/Slave Cylinder changed.....new problems

Hi, I recently changed my master cylinder because of some leakage and went ahead and did the slave as well. Well I finally got my pedal semi-adjusted height-wise and now the car won't chirp second gear anymore. Its almost like it doesn't engage the clutch hard enough anymore. It used to do so with no problem at like 4500 RPMS. Any idea what I need to adjust. The pedal is also making a slight click towards the top of the release of the pedal. Anything related? Please help and thanks in advance.

could be that the hydraulic system wasn't bled enough, or you need to adjust the pushrod on the master cylinder

thanks for posting. I was kinda wondering if the system wasn't bled enough. I had never done it before so I may need to fiddle with that some. I did adjust the pushrod on the master cylinder to where I think it was before. Even if its not precise it shouldn't effect how hard the clutch engages right? When I first installed it my clutch wouldn't come more than an inch off the floor but now I've got a decent throw. Thanks again.
