Default Sounds like a bad bearing....but new bearing sounds the same...

At low speeds I have this "bad bearing" sound coming from my right rear wheel. The sound is really hard to describe...I guess it's like mild grinding sort of...Anyways, I replaced the bearing/hub assembly and it still makes the sound. What else could make that sound if not the bearing?

Can you explain how that might cause the sound in the back wheel?

no, the car's lowered but the wheels are still just below the wheel well, and it doesn't just happen when the suspension's compressed either.

jack it up and spin the wheel while holding the coil spring, if it feels rough then the bearing is bad. are you sure your brakes arent grinding??? does it change when you shift the weight of the car while driving??? more info.

No, it's not the bearing or the brakes. Bearing was replaced and it only makes the sound when the car's rolling, no sound if I just spin the wheel. That said, it doesn't make sense that my discs are warped, because that shouldn't have anything to do with whether or not the wheel has weight on it, right?

psst ur better of grabbing the lower control arm to test that.
IF his car is lowered, more than likely the spring (when the car is lifted) is just sitting in there loosely.

So jack the car up, spin the wheel, grab the control arm. if the bearing is bad, you can feel it.

sort of... it's SO hard to describe sounds...It seems like it makes the sound at approximately 1 revolution of the wheel...damn I just cannot think of the words to describe the sounds to you guys.

only thing i can suggest off the top of my head if its not the warped rotor kicking the brake pads its a tire or something.
