Default feul pressure regulator with Hondata?

I recently tuned my ls-vtec using Hondata. I didn't want to run a feul pressure regulator (due to the cops) so my tuner said as long as I run big injectors (440s), I'll be fine. The tuning was succesful! I pushed the power I wanted while being able to pass visual inspections by cops! Now i've been hearing comments that its not good to tune that route because the feul leans out in the upper RPMs. What do you think? Do I have to run a regulator? Keep in mind, it will be Hondata tuned. Thanks for your input.

If you don't need to increase the fuel pressure then the stock regulator will be fine.
