difference in Golden eagle 84mm gasket and drilling a CR-V gasket??

Default difference in Golden eagle 84mm gasket and drilling a CR-V gasket??

wanted to know what would the difference be between buying a golden eagle 84mm gasket and just drilling a hole in the CRV gasket for vtec oiling??? anything??

the crv gasket is "esentially" an ls gasket that is 84mm. so there will be no material to go around the oil hole. you need a vtec gasket for a vtec bottom end.

ALL GE gaskets are vtec gaskets that have all dowl holes enlarged, and the bore size is
what you ask for.
