Default Idle boucing...w/ sk2 mani and hondata gasket

Ok so after the install of my sk2 manifold together with the hondata gasket, my cars idle has been going up and down, from 1000-2500rpm's . This has happend to me before but its was the small spring underneath the tb, it was just to adjust it. Ok so i tried checking the spring again and its NOT it. All the vacumm hoses are connected i even used the "T'' to connect the other hose and sensor. I used all the sensors from the stock manifold. OK and my brother also rerouted teh lines for the coolants. Also if this helps when i have the A/C on the car's idle stops for a while at 1500rpm then bounces back up and down for a while then stops.

Any help would be appreaciated. Thanks HT's

Sounds like a vacuum leak. make sure everything is tight and double check that all your lines are in the correct spot. Did you clean the head good before you put on the new gasket. If there was some old gasket left it would cause a leak

I'll have to check that out again. take it to the mechanic so he can do it. Dont have the time. Thats what i was thinking but maybe it can be something else.

You can use carb cleaner and spray it over the intake. If it has a leak the carb cleaner will get sucked up by the leak and the car will stall out.

make sure the TPS is hooked up to the correct inlet on the TB. i installed the sk2 IM in my car, got the two sensors crossed and it did the exact same thing you described. when i'd rev it, the motor sounded so f u c k e d !

i have this same problem. i don't know what is going on. Sorry to thread jack but i though you would like to know someone else has this problem. I have checked for leaks and there are none. It seems that i keep burning out iacv's. i'll replace one then a few weeks later it'll go bad again and i'll have that idle problem again.

pretty sure, because i can bang on the iacv and it will close and idle fine. and when i replace it with a working one it will be fine for a few weeks then stop working.
