Default steering feels 'loose'

Ive noticed the steering on my 90' DA has gotten very loose and sloppy feeling lately. My wheel has quite a bit of free play and just doesnt feel very tight. What are some thing I can do to tighten up my steering and make it feel like a new car again??

you can take your steering rack out and make sure that your rack is still in good shape.. if so then check the bushings. if they are good then check fluid level... if fluid is enough then i guess i would check the connection where the sttering wheel connects to the rack with the universal joint.. also check your allingment cuase if that is wrong it will give the sttering a funny feel. hope that helps out a little..

Kind of off topic, my apologies. But does anyone know if there are any differences in the power steering assemblies of an LS and a GS-R?

I have a 90 GS with 198 on the OD. It feels loose also. I noticed the ball joints on me tie rod had some play in it. If your alighnment is off that can make it fun to drive also.
