Me personally, I'm going to wait for them to work the bugs out and get and 07.
That and the aftermarket will need some time to play catchup.

There was nothing wrong with the ep3 civic
its only problem was some styling "cues" that could have been avoided and coming out at a time when EVERY tuner car was coming boosted or S/C from the factory

 

I definitely jumped on the bandwagon, and I think they're awesome...but ended up with something completely different!

Don't know, but I'm sure there will be some.
Pretty sure that the 07's will have slightly less rattle and squeak than the 06's will have about 10 years down the road. Worth waiting a year to me.

No bandwagon here. I've considered getting one to save some money and have a lower payment. It seems they are pretty hard to get at this point and I definitely won't pay a premium IF I do get one. I really liked the looks of the EP3 Si, but it just didn't have the performance that the new FG2 Si has. I may wait until '07 myself only because first year cars usually do have some issues.

 

it's not a bandwagon when every single model is sold out throughout america & boost honda's sales 8.7% as a whole. the OP doesn't know ****.

Good call George. I've been drooling over the coupes w/ the OEM kit.

 

i jumped on the badwagon, i guess. then the honda dealer i work at wouldnt make me a deal on an si sooo i bought a specv with basically no miles. and there arent any bugs with the SIs YET. we havent had any come into the shop at all yet.

and the best part is i bought the car off of the truck i was there to see her taken off the truck so i know some a** hole kid didnt get to take it for no joy ride

u mean some ******* tech correct? we dont let the porters drive the better cars, ei: s2000, new si, accord v6 6spd.... but jsut show you know, in the paper work we have to fill out in the PDI there is a box to check that says something along the lines of check to make sure the engine performs in all areas. which means make sure its good up to 8000. wouldnt you be disappointed if you got in that si and as soon as u hit 6 or 7k it just fell on its face??

 

i hopped on the bandwagon for the EP3...and i was on my way to hopping on this bandwagon too because i love the styling, but ended up going for ///M instead. one day...i'll get this one though.

i wouldn't take a new si if it was given to me. My 02 was the biggest POS i have ever owned. the build quality of any honda from 00 and up is very poor. the only exeption is my 01 prelude which i have never had a problem with, because it's built in japan. anything built in the US lacks the quality craftsmanship of previous hondas that were built in japan

 

I got one, because of the features it had, and the way it looks. I still love domestics, but now imports have a place in my life haha. I like having this car though, something about having the first year of the reintroduction of the coupe that I think will be nice. My only complaints about it... is howcome canada got heated mirrors and washer fluid light and US didnt? guess it doesnt matter.

 

I looked at one and I couldn't get pass the rear-end and dashboard display. I would rather have it look abit more like the S2K's then that two tier crap.
I think Nissan did this also with some of it's cars as well.

 

I did for a little, but after some discussion I realized the motor will be highly sought after, and I'm done worrying about thiefs. So I picked up an Fa1 (06 5spd Civic Sedan) and I'm a very happy first time new car owner

 

I did and love every minute driving it...I think I have the only blue in Tampa!
