Default need help restting my iacv

I have to reset my iacv because it it causeing my car to stall when it it warmed up

how do i go about resetting it?

i was told to turn the car on, let it warm up, hold it a 3k for about 10 seconds then let off, go umplug the iacv then set my idle with the screw and then plug it back in turn my car off and reset my ecu

sound right?

i need to know asap, i have to have my car running properly b tomorrow

There is nothing to reset. You might need to clean it out.

are you sure, i had one on there but it wa cracked and my car would idle high then i replaced it and at startup it idles at a perfect 1500, but when its warm it will stall, think i just have to reset my ecu?

or could it be a different problem

Yeah, try and reset yur ecu then come back. Did you clean out the new one with carb cleaner? Might be all gunked up.

yea, i blasted the **** ouy of it to same sure its clean, it is one from an obd0 motor and i have and obd1, i just got it from my fiend cuz it fits on the skunk2 manifold and seemed to work right until i got home and the car was warm

also may want to check the fitv.

are you getting a cel for the iacv?

when you unplug it what happens?

im not getting a cel, i recently built my motor and with my old iavc it would idle super high when it was cold but when it wamred up it would be fine, with the new iacv it just drops idle when i go to stop the car
