When I turn the parking light switch, they come on. When I turn on the headlights, they go out. The front/rear parking lights and all the dash lights. Got pulled over by the cops last night. This is on a 93 Civic. Anyone encounter this? I'm going to go chase it down with a voltmeter but I thought I'd ask for any insight and check back after a while if I can't find it.

 

First of all, specs on your car? stock? modified? year? blah blah blah.....

I'd start from the top and work downward:

master light switch, relays(clear ones in the engine bays on the side), then all the wires for frayed or damaged ones.
