Default 90 Honda Accord problems

Thank you guys for helping me. My car needed new spark plugs but there's still a problem with it. The whole entire car shakes and the engine does, too. Sounds like complete crap.

As soon as you learn how to spell VTEC...
What is it not getting? Spark, Air/ fuel mixture, low compression??? Do a few searches and you will find how to diagnose the problems individually.

Could be the fuel injectors.

Sorry these other guys didn't help you more. Always start off with a spark check. This problem is not usually caused by the dist. cap but more by an ignitor or coil. If GOOD spark is preasent then check fuel pressure. Will need to be over 20 psi. to start cold. If fuel pressure is there then check the ECU for codes. Weather it's VETC or not it needs computer controls.

It has a newer Honda Prelude V-tech engine in it. I think it's a H22a4 or something like that. When I go to start it it wont start like somethings not getting to something. A few people have suggested its the engine, spark plugs, distributor, or the starter. Will you help me, please.</TD></TR></TABLE>

there really wasnt enough info given to help... will the engine even crank? if so does it even sputter when cranking? a little more info might get you some more help... good luck though..

As mentioned if you described in more detail how its not starting we can give you a better diagnosis rather than throwing ideas at you that might not even be the problem.
