had the same problem.. make sure to check all ur hose for leaks.. even the little coolant hose that go to ur throttle body or to ur fire wall... also you could have a clog..........

Heater core is shot? Maybe your radiator has had its day and its not cycling the coolant properly like you mentioned...If you just did new thermostat, and bled the system, and have a new headgasket thats theres not a lot left...

the new thermostat could even be bad. I have seen stranger things happen.
See if the upper and lower radiator hoses are the same temp.

i got a similar problem. after my car being dorment for about 3 months (due to a bad tranny) i started it up and a **** load of white smoke came out and its definietly coolant cuz it has that distinct smell. i checked the radiator and it was low so i filled it up. my question is it didnt stop smoking after being at operating temp, could it be a blown head gasket or intake manifold gasket? the dipstick isnt milky and theres no sign of coolant around the oil cap. another thing i noticed is the lower hose to the thermo has no flow even after warming up meaning the thermostat stays closed. the top hose is hot as hell though. give me some insight guys thanks
