my dash lights are not working and it keeps blowing fuses.. I know there are alot of things it could be , but maybe someone has a good Idea where to start

Check your dimmer switch, when they go bad they can cause your dash lights to go out. Same thing happened to me, there is a way to bypass the dimmer switch so you dont have to buy a new one. The only bad thing is that they have to be on the highest setting ALL the time!

check the dimmer switch..if not..i had the same problem with my old car and it ended up being that my tail lights had corrosion on them which kept causing me to blow fuses...its worth a try

ok so i know my gauge cluster and climate control are good
i can unhook this plug out of the fuse box , take out the red/black wire and plug it back in.. it wont blow fuses anymore and the climate control now lights up but still no gauge cluster lights.. but the second i put that red/black wire back in it blows

thats the thing that wire runs with a **** ton of other wires
i check continuity between where i pulled the wire out and to the gauge cluster and there is like 3 wire that all tie into it

In the EXACT same situation as you and have no idea how to fix it. Friend had the sam problem and he took it to Honda and they said it was his "multiplex box" but I and no one else seems to know what it is or where.
well that wire powers everything that normally dims on the dash.
cluster, radio, hazard switch, rear defog, cruise control switch and the dimmer itself.
BUT only one thing connects to ground in that circuit... the dimmer itself.
does it still blow the fuse if you unplug it?

if your dimmer switch broke, then you can jump the red and the black cables with a paper click but remember not to plug your dimmer swtich back in. Dont jump the red/black cable. This will make the dash light up all the way.
i tried a good dimmer switch with no luck
when i have that wire out of the harness, it doens not blow the fuse and my climate control lights up
my radio also works.. i want to try to find a way to just hot wire the lights to the gauge cluster , i dont care if they dim or not
