95 Prelude SE wheel weight?
Well this is really back from the dead, but it never got answered and I actually want to know. The 93 Si wheels are pigs and I am looking for a cheap alternative...

yeah i'd like to know too. i'm thinking about getting rid of my 17"s since they would get too damaged downtown.

I think i can shed some light on this subject. Their weight is 22.5 pounds. <---- Found this info on this sight- http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelmodels/177
Yeah the Stock SI's are HEAVY. I saved 5lbs unsprung per corner by switching to the VTEC Sawblades. Then I switched to my 16" Slipstreams and saved 8lbs at every corner

So to recap the class today...
The SE model =
Auto Tranny (No 5sp)
Special Paint including Metallic Green and Gold
Only produced in 1995
Leather interior
H23 motor
Spoiler
Mysterious special wheels (potentially lighter than the Si's)
Some good info to know... I learn something new everyday!

whoa whoa whoa the SE came in a 5-speed. I have one in a 5-speed, and I know a few people around here who have 5-speeds also. I am curious about the weight of the wheels also.
And from what was said before, the SE is basically the SI model with every option available to preludes:
Tan leather interior
The highest end Honda stereo for the time
5-spoke wheels
special colors
5-speed or automatic
I do believe there were like 5500 made, only 1995. I'm not sure how many are in the US but it's hard to find another one. I think they were made to be more of a sports-luxury model than straight out sports like the Vtec model.
